What a great day for the Pedernales Falls State Park Spring Dye Trace Project. Michael and I are applying dye trace study techniques learned from the OUL Groundwater Tracing Handbook. The purpose of the dye trace project was to understand surface to groundwater interactions between the Pedernales River and the Park spring. Charcoal and water bottle samples were collected daily and sent to OUL for analysis.
